The Old Harbin Hotel was built in 1923 by W.O. Harbin. Today the Hotel is owned by Gene and Earlene McDaniel. Together the McDaniel's have created a beautiful place that they call home. Sitting directly in the middle of Nauvoo is where the hotel "talkes" to all those who have seen it. The McDaniels host annual events to welcome those who have never seen the beauty that this small town has to offer. This year we will be having our 13th antique car show, which in prior years has drawn people from all over the United States. Last year we had over 350 antique cars lining the streets of this small town. Miss Alabama and Miss Walker County present special trophies at our car show. This year will be no different, we expect to have over 400 antique cars, trucks, and tractors rolling in on Saturday June 28th 2007. If you would like more information about this or other events that are held in Nauvoo, contact Gene McDaniel at genemc@tds.net. hope to see you here.
